Preamp tweaks (unsure exactly) and power supply filtering changes. 101B: introduced in 1995 and is still current XTC circuit. I've played a 100B amp and it is a Unicorn amp with amazing feel and tone. Clean is standard Fender plate fed tone stack after 1st gain stage. The 100A/B also has the "Air" control, which I'm unsure what is, but I suspect it is lifting the 1n cap to ground that exists in the 101B boost (this is a guess though). Boost on clean but I believe it has no boost control for the Ch2/3 preamp, unlike the 101B (I could be wrong on this though). 100A/B amps also had a single presence control with single 3 way depth settings, whereas the 101B has the dual assignable presence/depth controls. Original amp had lower filtering AFAIK and I've seen schematics with 47uf Plates and Screens and throughout the preamp. A = American (6L6s and probably 2k2 primary OT) and B = British (El34s and 1k7 primary OT, plexi style). 100A/B: original XTC circuit introduced in 1992. In relation to your original question, here is what I believe is the history of the XTC circuits: I've just emailed you the XTC schematic I have, which I believe is the 101B.
